#Cetus the largest DEX of Sui, loses over $260M after an attack
#CetusProtocol the main decentralized exchange (DEX) and liquidity provider on the blockchain #SUİ was the victim of a devastating attack that resulted in estimated losses of 260 million dollars.
According to Adeniyi Abiodun, CPO of Mysten Labs and co-founder of Sui, the incident was caused by a bug in a smart contract.
However, there is a ray of hope, between 150 and 160 million dollars of the stolen assets have been frozen and are in the process of being returned to the Cetus funds.
