Blackstone Acquires Bitcoin Through BlackRock's ETF Worth US$1 Million
Blackstone is known to have recently acquired Bitcoin (BTC) through BlackRock's Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) amounting to US$1.08 million or Rp17 billion. Blackstone reported that it has acquired 23,094 shares of the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) created by BlackRock.
This move marks the company's first step in adopting the largest crypto digital asset. Additionally, this initiative signifies the growing level of Bitcoin adoption among large institutions.
Moreover, this investment management also purchased 4,300 shares in the crypto ATM operator Bitcoin Depot Inc (BTM) which cost US$6,300. Subsequently, it allocated US$181,166 to buy 9,889 shares of the ProShares Bitcoin ETF (BITO).
