Bitcoin set a new record but quickly retraced.
Bitcoin updated its all-time high on the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, reaching a level of $109,845. However, just an hour after reaching this peak, the cryptocurrency lost nearly 3% and is trading around $106,600 at the time of publication. At the beginning of the American trading session, BTC first updated the record on Coinbase, and then on Binance.
Due to market volatility, over the last 4 hours, traders' positions worth more than $215 million have been liquidated, with the ratio of closed longs to shorts being almost equal.
