According to Foresight News, the Wall Street Journal reports that Crusoe has secured a new financing commitment of $11.6 billion for the expansion of its Texas data center, which is being constructed for OpenAI. This expansion is crucial for enhancing the long-term computational capabilities of ChatGPT's manufacturer.

Crusoe stated that the funding, which includes both debt and equity, will increase the data center's size from two buildings to eight. Each building is expected to utilize up to 50,000 Nvidia Blackwell chips. This new funding raises the total amount secured for the project to $15 billion.
