According to PANews, China's National Cybersecurity Notification Center has flagged 35 apps for illegally collecting and using personal data. Among them are prominent AI platforms like Zhipu Qingyan and Kimi. Zhipu Qingyan allegedly gathered user data beyond authorized limits, while Kimi is accused of accessing information unrelated to its services. The investigation, conducted on the App Store from April 16 to May 15, has yet to receive public responses from the companies involved.
