will vote to decide whether to begin debate on the GENIUS Act (stablecoin).

This is an early but very important step in the legislative process. Senators will vote to officially start discussions on the GENIUS bill, after which they will propose amendments and may negotiate key terms.

Since the Cloture vote (ending debate) was passed yesterday, the Senate may conclude the debate phase (or prevent the delay of the bill) and proceed to a final vote when ready.

If the bill is passed in the Senate, it will be sent to the House of Representatives. If all goes well, the bill will be ready for President Trump to sign into law.
