BNB (Binance Coin) is the native cryptocurrency of the Binance exchange, one of the largest crypto trading platforms in the world. It was originally launched on Ethereum but later moved to Binance's own blockchain, BNB Chain. BNB is used to pay trading fees on Binance at a discount, and it also powers various applications in the Binance ecosystem. Over time, its use has expanded to include payments, DeFi, NFTs, and more. BNB has a limited supply, and Binance regularly burns (destroys) some of the coins to reduce supply and support its value.
