When I first got into crypto, I thought:

"Wow! Longs for a billion? The rocket is about to take off!"

Well, yes... it flew up. Right in my face.

❗ Here's what I realized after a couple of such "flights":

Futures are not a lever to influence the price, but just bets. Like bookmakers.

And yes, it is a casino. Only instead of a football match there is a bitcoin, and instead of stands there is a chart on Binance.

Imagine:

The token is, for example, CAL.

Inside their project there is a pffft, a bug, a huge bug, it doesn’t matter.

Holders started to panic and dump on SPOT.

The price went down - and then the casino players got involved. They shorted.

Like, "now we're going to make some real money here."

There are 10 million shorts on futures.

But how much did the capitalization change from this?.. By zero.

Because short sellers' money is not an investment, it's just a bet.

The coin may then bounce back -

Well, the bug was fixed, the holders calmed down and started buying back.

And here the shortsmen are shaved. Beautifully, smoothly. Right to the root.

And here is where the most interesting part begins...

Who takes their money?

Not an exchange. Not a project team.

And other players who bet on growth.

The exchange took its share - the commission. The rest went in circles.

That is... people are shaved by other people.

(Yes, yes, it is irony. And life.)

What's annoying:

Screenshots are being posted on TG channels:

"🔥 Longs for a billion! Now there will be a pump!"

No way!

The chart moves from purchases and sales on SPOT.

And not from the bets of those who simply believe in growth or decline,

but does not buy the token itself.

Of course, inside information, manipulation, “fixing” – all this exists.

But this is a speck of dust against the backdrop of real movement.

A billion in futures has less impact than a million in spot.

Because on the spot there is real money, a real purchase,

and not a bet, like in FIFA, on the total under.

Conclusion, my dear friend:

Look at reality.

Don't be fooled by headlines like

"Whales are betting on a fall!"

They place bets - but that doesn't mean they buy or sell.

This means that they are… playing.

And the market lives not by bets, but by actions.

My advice (after the bumps):

— Follow the news within the project, not the orders in the glass.

— Laugh at the "experts" who confuse derivatives with reality.

- And don't forget that in the crypt... you're not the only one with brains.

The moral of the story is:

If you want to bet, play, but remember,

that in this casino only those who understand what they are getting into win.

And sometimes you just get lucky.

Well, if you suddenly liked it, grab my fist and subscribe.

And if I didn’t like it, well, I’m already used to it.

I shake your paw!
