Crypto analyst and co-founder of CMCC Crest, Willy Wu, stated that the expectations of infinite growth $BTC are a myth. According to him, since 2020, when corporations and governments entered the market, the annual growth rate (CAGR) of Bitcoin has decreased from over 100% to 30–40% and continues to fall. In the medium term, Wu predicts stabilization at an annual growth rate of 8%, corresponding to 3% of the world's GDP.
Despite the slowdown, Wu considers Bitcoin an attractive asset. He noted that for the next 15–20 years, no publicly traded investment product will be able to match its long-term returns. The analyst urged young people to invest in Bitcoin, emphasizing the uniqueness of the fourth halving.
Wu also predicts that the cryptocurrency market is becoming more mature due to the influx of pension and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). However, he warns of a decrease in the intensity of altcoin seasons.
Bitcoin remains a key asset of the digital era, but its growth is limited by macroeconomic factors. Stay updated on crypto market news and subscribe to #MiningUpdates
