🇷🇺 The Ministry of Justice of Russia proposed rules for the arrest and confiscation of cryptocurrencies.
At the PMYUF, Deputy Minister of Justice Vadim Fedorov stated that digital currency will be equated to property — for the purposes of arrest and subsequent confiscation.
Investigators will be able to seize carriers with keys or request the court to prohibit operations with the asset.
Specialists will be involved to assess measures for the preservation of cryptocurrencies.
The draft law is already being prepared for its first reading in the State Duma.
The reason is the growing interest of criminals in anonymous assets without centralization.
