Lab-grown gold could eliminate shortages and increase demand for bitcoins

Ran Neuner, a cryptocurrency analyst at CNBC, stated that scientists can recreate gold in a laboratory, undermining its value as a rare asset.

He pointed out that once people realize that lab-grown gold is indistinguishable from natural gold, a huge shift towards bitcoin will occur.

JPMorgan notes that since April, gold has dropped by 8%, while bitcoin has risen by 18%, with outflows from gold ETFs in favor of bitcoin.

Bitcoin could take the place of the main safe-haven asset in the future.
