Ethereum and Solana achieve record network revenues at peak prices
According to BlockBeats, John Sharpon, co-founder of DBA, released data analysis indicating that both Ethereum and Solana achieved their highest network revenues when their prices reached their historical peaks. The analysis reveals that the annual revenue multiples during these peak times were nearly comparable, around 26.5 times.
The peak price of Ethereum occurred in November 2021, when the network's monthly revenue was approximately $1.83 billion, translating to an annual network revenue of about $219 billion. At that time, Ethereum's fully diluted valuation (FDV) was $578.71 billion, resulting in a valuation multiple of 26.42 times.
The peak price of Solana occurred in January 2025, when the network's monthly revenue was approximately $550 million, equivalent to an annual network revenue of about $6.61 billion. The fully diluted valuation of Solana was $177 billion, resulting in a valuation multiple of 26.77 times.
