MegaETH — a new Layer-2 on Ethereum that promises 100,000 TPS and has already demonstrated 20,000 TPS on the testnet.
Its architecture includes a single active sequencer, which speeds up transaction processing, as well as EigenDA for data availability.
MegaETH is positioned as "real-time Ethereum," offering sub-millisecond latency and parallel execution of transactions.
This makes it one of the most ambitious solutions for scaling Ethereum.
As for Binance's investments, there is currently no confirmed information about the exchange's involvement in this project. However, MegaETH has already raised $20M in funding, including participation from Vitalik Buterin and Dragonfly Capital.
