The Ethereum Foundation has launched the **Trillion Dollar Security Initiative (1TS)**, a strategic effort to strengthen Ethereum’s security as it scales globally. Announced on May 14, 2025, 1TS aims to prepare Ethereum to securely manage trillions in value and serve billions of users. Its three-phase plan—**Mapping**, **Execution**, and **Communication**—will identify vulnerabilities, implement targeted improvements, and foster ecosystem-wide collaboration. Led by Fredrik Svantes and Josh Stark, with support from top security experts, 1TS aspires to make Ethereum a civilization-scale infrastructure trusted by individuals and institutions alike.
