✍ Pizza for half a billion dollars
(From the diary of the first Bitcoin buyer)
On a spring night in 2010, Laszlo sat in front of his modest computer, talking to himself:
"Today I will make history... and I will have pizza for lunch."
He logged onto the BitcoinTalk forum and wrote:
"Is anyone willing to buy me pizza? I will give them 10,000 Bitcoins!"
A young man replied:
"Agreed, I will order you pizza from Papa John's, just please keep it without pineapple."
Laszlo agreed, and 30 minutes later, there was a knock on the door...
A moment of silence.
The pizza had arrived.
10,000 Bitcoins were transferred.
And the stomach was filled.
In a moment of clarity after lunch, Laszlo proudly said:
"I am the first person to use Bitcoin in the real world."
Then he burped.
Years passed, and Bitcoin soared to the sky, and people began to buy cars and travel with digital currency, as for Laszlo...
Every time he saw a pizza advertisement, his nerve cells would collapse.
