$ETH ETH’s market capitalization has just officially surpassed the two giants Coca-Cola and Alibaba, after increasing by more than 42% in just 5 days. The momentum comes from the Pectra upgrade – which improves network performance and expands layer-2 data processing capabilities. As of May 15, ETH’s price has increased by about 42% in five days, from $1,786 to over $2,605, according to data from CoinGecko. Thanks to this increase, ETH’s market capitalization reached about $308 billion, surpassing the capitalization of Coca-Cola ($303.5 billion) and Alibaba ($303.7 billion). This is the first time in 2025 that Ethereum has entered the top 40 assets with the largest capitalization in the world, reflecting the growing interest from the market in this blockchain platform, especially after recent technical upgrade changes.
