This day is dedicated to the first known purchase made with bitcoins: in 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC, which became a historic moment for the cryptocurrency community.

In 2023, Binance organized offline events in various countries, including Italy, Brazil, Vietnam, Mexico, and others. A special event was the purchase by Romanian investor Daniel Nita of 10,000 pizzas for 1 BTC through Binance Pay, a significant portion of which was donated to charity.
