The Ethereum Foundation recently announced the launch of the "Trillion-Dollar Security Program," dedicated to comprehensively enhancing the security of the Ethereum ecosystem. This program is of great significance, aiming to elevate Ethereum's security performance to a level that supports global economic infrastructure.

The program addresses multiple aspects, including user experience, wallets, smart contracts, infrastructure, and consensus protocols. It will conduct full-stack security risk assessments, thoroughly examining the security risks present across all technical layers from wallets to consensus protocols. In terms of improvements in key areas, it will promote high-priority fixes and long-term improvement projects, such as regular security audits for smart contracts, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities, ensuring the security of Ethereum-based applications against threats arising from vulnerabilities. At the same time, it will strengthen the external communication of security standards, allowing users to clearly understand security standards and protective measures through more transparent information dissemination, helping users manage assets securely on-chain, and also laying a solid security foundation for institutions and governments managing trillion-dollar-level value on Ethereum.
