Former Binance CEO Zhao Changpeng (CZ) suddenly introduced the story of his dog Broccoli, which sparked a wave of meme coins named after his pet.

CZ revealed that the story of getting a dog started a year and a half ago when he was chatting with a friend who owns a zoo in Dubai, asking about dog breeds suitable for the local hot weather. That evening, the friend brought him a young Belgian Malinois, complete with a passport.
