Why don't we use teeth as money?
I can't believe that this has to be explained...
But here we are:
A Financial Times reporter said that her teeth are scarce but aren't worth billions of dollars so Bitcoin is overvalued
This shows you how far behind legacy media is
I guarantee you that there are people who actually thought what she said was smart
But it really wasn't
Bitcoin is better money than teeth because Bitcoin can be moved across space and time using the internet
You can send Bitcoin to anyone in the world by scanning a barcode
Bitcoin doesn't have a physical form, so you can access it from anywhere in the world
You can't do this with teeth
If we started using our teeth as money, we would have to pull our teeth out and we wouldn't be able to use them as a way to chew our food
Bitcoin is worth billions of dollars because it's the only way of sending and receiving value across the world without trusted intermediaries
If you wanted to pay someone over the internet, you wouldn't be able to because teeth are not digital
