MetaMask is considering launching its own token
MetaMask co-founder Dan Finley confirmed that the company is still considering the possibility of launching a token amid easing regulations in the US.
If the token appears, it will be available directly in the wallet and on the official MetaMask website. Finley noted that regulation has become "safer" for token issuance, but the risks of speculation and phishing attacks remain.
Previously, the idea of launching a MetaMask token was supported by Consensys CEO Joseph Lubin.
