Nevertheless, he assured that monetary policy is adequately prepared to react if necessary. Jefferson also highlighted the increase in uncertainty regarding government policies and mentioned that it is still unclear whether the impact of the tariffs will be temporary or have more prolonged effects on price evolution. Additionally, he lowered his economic growth forecast for this year, although he maintains the expectation that there will be an expansion of economic activity.
