Ethereum Foundation Launches Security Initiative Worth a Trillion Dollars
The Ethereum Foundation has launched a project called the “Trillion Dollar Security Initiative” with the aim of upgrading Ethereum’s security to a level that can comfortably support the storage of trillions of dollars. The initiative, which aspires to make Ethereum a “civilization-scale” infrastructure, has a three-part approach including security landscape mapping, targeted improvements, and better communication.
The project seeks to not only make Ethereum the most secure blockchain but also to exceed the security of traditional financial systems. Ethereum already controls a market share of 58% with more than $22 billion in RWA tokenized on blockchains.
The initiative is calling for feedback and in-depth discussions from all stakeholders in the ecosystem.
