On May 15, information was announced from Farcaster co-founder Varun Srinivasan that Warpcast, a front-end application of the decentralized social network Farcaster, will be renamed to Farcaster. This change includes renaming the mobile app and reviving the classic Arch logo, namely FarcasterLogo. Additionally, the domain of the official website will be changed from warpcast.com to farcaster.xyz. Old links will still have backward compatibility, and users do not need to take any action.
Srinivasan emphasizes that there will be no further changes in the short term. The team will move forward steadily and communicate fully through multiple channels.
