Odaily Planet Daily News: Crypto market maker Wintermute announced that it will establish its U.S. headquarters in downtown New York on June 1, marking its first office in the U.S. Wintermute CEO Evgeny Gaevoy stated, "As the U.S. becomes more friendly towards digital assets and blockchain innovation, we decided to act quickly and establish a presence in New York City, the financial capital of the world." Additionally, Wintermute appointed policy veteran Ron Hammond as Director of Policy and Advocacy. Hammond previously served as Senior Director of Government Relations at the Blockchain Association and was the Head of Financial Services Policy for Republican Congressman Warren Davidson. "As the U.S. regulatory environment becomes more constructive, we see tremendous opportunities to promote responsible innovation and deepen engagement with policymakers and industry stakeholders," he said.
