According to BlockBeats news on May 14, the Ethereum Foundation announced the launch of the 'trillion-dollar' security plan, a comprehensive initiative aimed at upgrading Ethereum's security and helping the world move on-chain. The plan consists of three parts: 'Full-Stack Security Mapping', 'Focus Area Tackling', and 'Security Awareness Upgrade'.
The 'trillion-dollar' aspect of the plan refers to billions of individuals willing to store assets worth over $1,000 on-chain, totaling trillions of dollars stored on Ethereum. Companies, institutions, or governments can easily store over $1 trillion in value in a single contract or application.
The entire plan is co-chaired by Fredrik Svantes (Head of Protocol Security) and Josh Stark (EF Management Team). Advisors include samczsun, founder of the Security Alliance SEAL and Paradigm security consultant, Mehdi Zerouali, co-founder of Sigma Prime, and Zach Obront, co-founder of Etherealize.
