Bitcoin rose by 1.51% in the last 24 hours. Its market capitalization reached $2.09 trillion, and the 24-hour trading volume increased by almost 6%, reaching $47.040 billion.
According to a joint statement released in Geneva, both parties will reduce tariffs over the next 90 days to allow more time for negotiations. The United States will reduce import tariffs from 145% to 30%, including those related to fentanyl. In exchange, China will lower its tariffs from 125% to 10% on U.S. products. The temporary cuts will take effect on May 14.
