This time, Strategy has obtained a total of 13,390 $BTC, elevating the year-to-date yield of the company to a notable 15.5%. This acquisition further fortifies the company’s confidence in the long-term potential of the flagship cryptocurrency.

Strategy Buys $1.34B in Bitcoin, Increasing Year-to-Date Yield to Significant 15.5%

In its recent K-8 filing, Strategy has disclosed the buyout of up to $1.34B in Bitcoin ($BTC). This denotes the inclusion of 13,390 $BTC into the existing Bitcoin holdings of Strategy between the 5th and 11th of May. This acquisition accounted for an average per-Bitcoin price of nearly $99,856. The cumulative investment for the respective acquisition is almost $1.34B while including expenses and fees.

Strategy has reportedly funded this buyout from the current at-the-market equity offerings thereof. As a result of this acquisition, the cumulative $BTC holdings of Strategy have touched $39.41B. Particularly, this amount includes 568,840 $BTC. On average, this figure highlights a per $BTC average value of $69,287. Thus, the year-to-date yield of Strategy has now risen to 15.5%.
