#TradeWarEases #TradeWarEases Temporary respite amid the trade war between the United States and China.

The two powers reached an agreement on May 12, under which Washington will reduce tariffs for the Asian giant from 145% to 30%. For its part, Beijing will lower tariffs on the U.S. from 125% to 10%. This was announced by U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent at a press conference in Geneva.

The trade truce will last for 90 days, during which officials from both countries will continue talks to resolve economic disputes, the two governments announced.
