The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces, responsible for defending the country's airspace, intercepting enemy attacks, and providing air support to the Army and Navy. It was established on August 14, 1947, along with the creation of Pakistan. The PAF has played a significant role in various wars and operations, particularly during the wars of 1965 and 1971.
Equipped with modern fighter jets, radar systems, and highly trained pilots, the PAF is considered one of the finest air forces in the world. Its motto is:
"Sehra, Shahadat, Khidmat" — which translates to "Excellence, Martyrdom, Service", reflecting its mission and spirit.
