The investment firm Metaplanet, which is listed in Tokyo, has conducted another round of bitcoin purchases. With this, it now accumulates a larger sum in the asset than the country famous for hodling (investing in the currency long-term), El Salvador.

The company announced this Monday, May 12, that it added 1,241 BTC to its treasury, spending 18.4 billion yen (JPY), equivalent to 126 million dollars (USD).
