GENEVA/WASHINGTON, May 10 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump praised the talks with China in Switzerland on Saturday and said that both sides had negotiated "a total reset... in a friendly but constructive manner."
"We had a very good meeting today with China, in Switzerland. Many issues were discussed and many agreements were reached," Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

Trump added: "We want to see, for the sake of both China and the United States, an opening of China to American companies. !!!BIG BREAKTHROUGH!!!". He did not provide further details on the progress.
