Pakistan Has Never Requested a Ceasefire

Pakistani soldiers have not violated the ceasefire. This claim has been made by the country's military spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chowdhury. In response to a question from journalists, he stated that Pakistan has never requested a ceasefire.
The spokesperson claimed that on the 6th and 7th of May, they themselves launched cowardly attacks in Pakistan and then requested mediation again. However, Pakistan has sent a clear message that it will only communicate after giving an appropriate response.
Lieutenant General Sharif stated that there is no chance of war between India and Pakistan. This is because the lives of 1.6 billion people are at stake. He also mentioned that Pakistan has dealt with the conflict very maturely.
He said, as the spokesperson of the army, I can assure you with 200 percent certainty that our soldiers are adhering to the ceasefire along the LoC.
