Representatives from the world's largest asset management company, BlackRock, met with staff from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to discuss staking and options trading on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for cryptocurrency. "The topics discussed were approaches to addressing issues related to Crypto asset regulation," according to the memo.
BlackRock representatives spoke with SEC staff about 'considerations for facilitating ETPs with staking capabilities' and also discussed parameters for determining positions and execution limits for options on crypto ETFs, including liquidity thresholds, according to the filing. BlackRock was also reported to have discussed general standards for approving cryptocurrency ETFs, in order to prepare several products they will submit in the future.#ETH #ETHCrossed2500
