Someone asked me, "Do you really like Bitcoin?"
I smiled and said, "It's not that I like Bitcoin, it's that I no longer believe in fiat currency."
Many people misunderstand Bitcoin believers, thinking they are just addicted to trading coins, eager for wealth, and obsessed with technology. But in fact, Bitcoin is just a choice when you have no other options. When you truly see the absurdity and cruelty of the fiat currency system, you will understand that Bitcoin is not a "choice to make", but a "choice you have to make."
Inflation is not an accident, but a design of the system.
Our generation has been educated since childhood: money is safe, keeping it in the bank is rational, the government will manage the economy well. But what is the reality?
Annual inflation rate of 5% and 10%, the actual purchasing power continues to decline
If deposit interest rates are lower than inflation, it means your money is being "legally devalued".
The government’s deficit is out of control, solving problems by printing money. Who pays for this? The ordinary people.
These are not coincidences, but the preset of the system itself. Fiat currency is essentially an infinitely printable and manipulable tool, whose purpose is not to protect your wealth, but to secure the government’s finances and control.
I no longer trust a system that will steal my time.
You work hard, save money, thinking this will lead to financial freedom.
But the fiat currency system tells you: sorry, your labor value will be continuously diluted; the money you saved over ten years will only be worth half of what it was in the past.
This is not the fault of the market, but the essence of the system. This system steals your life with "inflation", punishes your success with "taxation", and creates asset bubbles with "credit expansion" making it increasingly difficult for you to get in.
I can no longer trust it.
So I choose Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not perfect, but it is honest.
Bitcoin will fluctuate, will drop, will make you emotional. But it is honest.
21 million coins, never to be increased.
A block is produced every 10 minutes, and no one can tamper with it.
Without relying on the government, banks, or institutions, anyone can freely hold and transfer.
Its rules are open and transparent, and no one can manipulate it to exploit you. It does not promise you stable returns, but it guarantees you a fair starting point.
It’s not about worshiping Bitcoin, but being utterly disappointed with reality.
So I will say it again:
I don't like Bitcoin, I just can't believe in fiat currency anymore.
I don't want my future to be tied to a group of politicians in front of printing machines.
I don't want my efforts to be reduced to fuel for filling the debt hole.
Bitcoin is not paradise, but it is an exit. It is the clearest light in the darkness.
It’s not that we believe in Bitcoin, but Bitcoin allows us to finally refuse to believe in lies.
