#AltcoinSeasonLoading
The decrease in Bitcoin dominance (BTCD) is often interpreted as a sign of the beginning of altseason — a period when altcoins start to show higher returns compared to Bitcoin. The fact that DOGE, XRP, ETH, SOL, and other major altcoins are repeating Bitcoin's breakout model may indicate growing interest and capital outflow from BTC into riskier assets.
However, the onset of a full-fledged altseason is confirmed by several factors simultaneously:
1. Prolonged decrease in BTCD (usually below 50% and with stable dynamics).
2. Growth of altcoins with lower capitalization (not just the top 10).
3. Increase in trading volumes for altcoins and active discussions about them on social media.
4. Fundamental and technical growth signals across many sectors: DeFi, GameFi, AI, L1, and L2.
A decrease in BTCD of almost 2% over the week is an initial signal, but not yet a guarantee of altseason. We may currently be at the pre-start: large altcoins are "warming up," and if Bitcoin maintains its positions without a sharp dump, we can expect growth in mid- and low-cap assets in the coming weeks — and that will already be a full-fledged altseason.
