A high-level security meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was held in New Delhi on Thursday, lasting over two hours. The meeting was attended by Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and the three service chiefs.
During the briefing, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi presented a detailed overview of the current situation along the India-Pakistan border, including the latest developments in Jammu & Kashmir and along the Line of Control (LoC).
Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, updated the Defence Minister on the measured and effective response undertaken by the Indian Air Force, highlighting deployments, air defence operations, and ongoing surveillance measures.
The meeting reflects India’s continued vigilance and strategic preparedness amid escalating tensions in the region.
