Recent developments of Zksync: 1. Achieved complete EVM equivalence. This means that Zksync has introduced EVM execution modes in the EVM bytecode interpreter, allowing unmodified EVM bytecode to run on the ZK chain. EraVM remains the primary execution environment, while the EVM interpreter acts as a translation layer, executing EVM bytecode on EraVM. As a result, deploying Solidity and Vyper contracts can be done without recompilation; it is compatible with Ethereum standard tools and works with Foundry, hardhat, and Remix without additional plugins or modifications... For developers, building on Zksync is easier than before.

2. Introduced solx, a new type of Solidity-to-EVM compiler, built on LLVM, which facilitates the portability of Solidity and helps reduce gas consumption. Additionally, it prepares for Ethereum's transition to a RISC-V type VM by using the new architecture with minimal changes.

3. Currently, the Zk elastic chain ecosystem has over 19 elastic chains, including WonderFi (Canada's largest compliant crypto platform with about 1.7 million users) launching a custom ZK chain; Abstract (a consumer chain built on the fat penguin based ZK elastic chain); Tradable (private credit tokenization, currently the main contributor to RWA in the zkysnc ecosystem); UBS (has deployed a proof of concept for tokenized gold on the zkysnc Validium testnet); Unionchain (connecting institutional RWAs of Southeast Asian exchanges with over 20 million KYC users); Quark (providing decentralized identity IDs for Buenos Aires residents, with a population of 3.6 million); Grvt (achieved $1.3 billion in alpha trading volume in its first month).
