Over 300 flights were cancelled and operations at 21 airports across northern and western India were suspended after the Indian armed forces launched missile strikes on terror targets in Pakistan. Major airports affected include Srinagar, Leh, Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, and Jodhpur. Airlines such as Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Air India Express, Akasa Air, and several foreign carriers have suspended flights amid heightened airspace restrictions.

In response to the ongoing situation, airlines like SpiceJet, IndiGo, Air India, and Akasa Air reported significant flight cancellations and disruptions. On social media platform X, these airlines informed passengers that departures, arrivals, and subsequent flights could be affected due to the closure of these airports.
"Due to the ongoing situation, airports in parts of northern India, including Dharamshala (DHM), Leh (IXL), Jammu (IXJ), Srinagar (SXR), and Amritsar (ATQ), are closed until further notice. Departures, arrivals, and consequential flights may be impacted. Passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly and check flight status," the airlines said in a joint post.
