As of October 9, 2024, Stripe allows U.S.-based merchants to accept USDC payments via the Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon blockchains. This integration enables customers to pay using their crypto wallets, such as MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet, and merchants to receive payments in U.S. dollars, simplifying accounting processes. Stripe charges a 1.5% transaction fee, which is lower than its standard 2.9% plus $0.30 fee for card payments
