Today I saw Bitcoin breaking through its previous high, leveraged 30 times to buy some SOL, not long after I switched to another altcoin to go long and made some money. Browsing Twitter, I saw some influencers bullish on Bitcoin and Jager, so I went all in on it, but ended up losing, missing the explosive growth of mainstream coins. I couldn't make any money in such a good market, it's frustrating. My trading operations are still a mess, doing whatever I please, one moment doing this, another moment doing that, can't hold on and keep jumping around a bit, not following trading discipline at all. At two o'clock in the afternoon, I even shorted ETH, but later realized I was going against the trend, so I closed the position and opened a cooling period for the contract, freezing trading until midnight.
In the past week, my obsession with shorting has blinded my eyes. The K-line clearly shows an upward trend, after rising it consolidated sideways, and the price fell four times to $93,000 without breaking through, yet I kept fantasizing about it dropping back down so I could buy the dip, hoping for a chance to get in. I didn't even understand the most basic trend, resulting in huge losses during the consolidation phase of an upward trend.
