2025.5.5 Old Nine's Hundredfold Trading Review

Goal: $100 capital to earn $10,000, currently $50

Today’s number of trades: 11, profit and loss situation: -30%.

Today’s trading mindset collapsed, completely acting like a gambler, switching between long and short positions. Shorting against the trend while also increasing leverage from three times to five times, heavily investing with high leverage in hopes of making back those large losses in a single trade, completely becoming a gambler.

My trading skills have not improved qualitatively, clearly having a trading system but failing to enforce trading discipline. The number of trades and loss ratio are still uncontrollable every day.

In the future, I need to use contract cooling periods more often to calm myself down and reduce the number of trades. If losing 2%, open a contract cooling period for 8 hours; if losing 5%, open a contract cooling period for 1 day; if losing 10%, open a contract cooling period for 3 days.
