On May 8, an incident occurred when the council related to the dark web of the LockBit ransomware group was breached, resulting in the leak of nearly 60,000 Bitcoin addresses. These addresses are linked to LockBit's ransomware infrastructure. The leaked data includes a MySQL database dump containing information related to cryptocurrency, which could help blockchain analysts track the group's illicit money flows. Although the addresses were exposed, no private keys were leaked.

The leaked database contains 20 tables, including the "builds" table that records ransomware versions created by group members, and the "chats" table that logs over 4,400 negotiation messages with victims. Analysis shows that this incident may be related to a vulnerability in the Everest ransomware site, as both parties used similar prompt information.

This event not only exposed the addresses but also opened up the possibility of tracking and analyzing the illegal activities of hackers through the blockchain network.
