csUSDL yt-pendle strategy: spicy @pendle_fi yield play currently available using csUSDL yt (if the numbers hold, it could return 603% in 3 months...) what’s yt? when you’re looking at yt (yield tokens), there are two things to know: - underlying apy = what yt earns - fixed/implied apy = what yt pays sometimes the yt price looks bad because the point multiplier isn’t priced in (thats a trap because it can be mucho tasty) the csUSDL example: say you’ve got $1,000 to deploy - implied yield: 11% - underlying yield: 4% - yt price: ~$0.0237 - yt units bought: 42,139 basic question: why buy yt if it earns just 4% and pays 11%? answer: points. lots of points: each csUSDL yt earns 23 points/day over 84 days: 81,412,553 points based on the expected values: - total points at airdrop: ~108b - tge fdv: $150m - airdrop %: 5% so each point = $0.0000694 meaning: - points = $5,653.65 - yield = $382 - total = $6,035.72 = 603% return what if it’s too bullish? cut the fdv in half to $75m: you still get a ~301% return and $150m fdv is based on coinshift’s last raise, so it’s not a moonshot guess why yt is the underdog? most users chase pt for “safe” stablecoin yield → that pushes pt price up → implied yield drops → yt gets cheaper → better upside for yt buyers → so yt becomes a bet on coinshift + a market rebound right now, yt-csUSDL is still trading below 11% implied yield...the window’s open closing thots from linn: linn is heavily reratded, actually have doctor certificates to prove this, so taking any advice, financial or not, is in itself reratded and so prior to taking any action please seek immediate psychiatric support, this post is also in collaboration with @0xCoinshift and points are highly speculative, participate at your own risk
