#MEMEAct
In the USA, officials are looking to ban the mining of meme coins — introducing the MEME Act! 🎭
A new masterpiece of legislation has emerged in the US Congress — the Modern Rewards and Unlawful Activities Act (MEME). Yes, officially. 📜 The bill H.R. 1712 was introduced in February 2025 by Congressman Sam Liccardo (D-CA), and it appears to be an attempt to say: “Officials, stop making your crypto jokes for profit!” 💸
According to the MEME plan, the following should be reined in:
— the president,
— the vice president,
— congressmen,
— top officials,
— and their families (so they don’t try to funnel meme coins through “in-laws”). 👀
Now, no meme coins, no crypto, and no dubious tokens for personal enrichment! 🚫
The reason, of course, was the scandal surrounding the meme coin $TRUMP, in which many investors initially believed in the dream, only to later see losses so significant that one could hardly bear to look at the chart. 📉
