South Korea's leading presidential candidate pledges to approve Bitcoin spot ETF

Lee Jae-myung, who is running for South Korea's left-wing Democratic Party, stated that he has promised to provide more opportunities for the younger generation of South Korea. Other promises of his include a new interest-bearing savings program and a financial planning program for young South Koreans.

The upcoming presidential election in South Korea is scheduled to take place on June 3, following the impeachment of former right-wing party chairman Yoon Suk-yeol last month.
