📍 Ethereum successfully deployed the Pectra Upgrade

📌 On May 7, 2025, Ethereum officially and successfully deployed the Pectra upgrade on the mainnet, marking an important milestone in the development roadmap since The Merge and Dencun.

📌 Previously, Pectra was scheduled for testing on two main Ethereum testnets, Holesky and Sepolia. However, both encountered serious technical issues that prevented the transaction confirmation process from being completed. This forced the Ethereum team to create a new testnet called Hoodi to ensure stability for this important upgrade.

📌 The Pectra upgrade is divided into two parts:

- Pectra - Part 1 (first half of 2025): Includes upgrades such as EIP-7251 (increasing the staking limit from 32 ETH to 2,048 ETH) and EIP-7702 (an upgrade of EIP-3074 aimed at improving user wallet experience), while also improving request times for the deposit and withdrawal processes of validators.

- Fusaka - Part 2 (expected in 2026): Integrates major technical improvements such as EVM Object Format (EOF) and PeerDAS, enhancing network performance and security. $ETH #eth #pectra
