We're basically now in an AI Coding Agent arms race.

OpenAI just dropped $3BN on Windsurf,

Cursor raising $900M & Apple partnering with Anthropic to build their own.

they're all trying to platform the future zuckerburgs, musks

imagine owning the toolkit for building multi-trillion $ companies.

Personally think this provides a huge opportunity for an open source competitor.

One which makes it stupidly simple to:

- create + deploy smart contracts

- hookup any AI model & post-train it via RL gyms.

- inference any cloud or compute provider

- own & monetize your data.

the good news?

this is already being built by difference web3 players.

@virtuals_io @arcdotfun leveraging ACP & MCP to allow builders to make any kind of app.

@hyperbolic_labs lets you inference 99% of models,

@NousResearch just launched a bunch of open source RL environments that you can use to train your agent.

@vana lets you own your data & have it used to train models (and be paid from that).

@PluralisHQ working on allowing you to own the model you train.

open source web3 is the only industry that can compete here imo

slowly but surely.
