Bangladesh and Italy Sign Landmark Migration Agreement

Bangladesh and Italy have signed a landmark MoU to combat illegal migration and promote legal employment pathways for Bangladeshi workers in Italy. The agreement allows for the recruitment of both seasonal and non-seasonal workers and enhances bilateral cooperation against human trafficking and organized crime. Bangladesh has also urged Italy to expedite visa processing, increase scholarships, and remove its name from the high-risk country list. This partnership aims to ensure safer, regulated migration while boosting both nations’ economies.
