New Push for U.S. Crypto Regulation from the House!

A sweeping 212-page draft bill has just been introduced by key House Republicans, signaling a serious step toward establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets.

Key highlights include:

Clear division of oversight between the SEC and CFTC

A defined path for decentralized tokens to move out of securities oversight

Separate treatment for payment stablecoins

Legal protections for developers and validators

Exchange and trading platforms covered under the Bank Secrecy Act

No special treatment for blockchain-based swaps or derivatives

Why now?

Existing securities laws aren't built for decentralized technologies — and lawmakers are recognizing the urgency.

Rep. Dusty Johnson summed it up: “America needs to lead in digital asset innovation — with clear, commonsense rules.”

All eyes on tomorrow’s joint hearing. Will this be the turning point for U.S. crypto policy?
